Susan Bleckner-Heller works from her Brooklyn based studio where she creates sculptures inspired by organic and abstracted architectural forms. Using hand mixed colored stoneware with subtley textured and unglazed surfaces, her overlapping interior and exterior layered volumes give her work a mysterious, sensuous physicality and earthy elegance. A graduate of SVA and Clayworks, Bleckner-Heller has exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, including the Cheongju International Craft Competition in South Korea. Bleckner-Heller's work was recently featured on the cover of the October 2014 issue of Interior Design.
